Living a Dream, Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail
As you may know I was back east for my youngest daughter’s graduation from college. It was a bittersweet trip, so hard to believe that 4 years ago I was driving her each day because she started college at 16 and now she’s headed off to the UK for grad school in the fall.
As I reflect on all that has changed in my own life, it occurs to me how very grateful I am for this grand adventure I call life. I’ve stepped out into the flow and realized several dreams and am moving toward several others. I’ve met some amazing women who are following their dreams as well.
I had the great pleasure of interviewing one of these women, a friend and colleague, Sara Malm. Sara began a 2668 mile hike on May 21st. I interviewed her the day before she left.
It was an inspiring conversation, we kept it short less than 30 minutes, so be sure to have a listen and follow Sara’s progress on her blog at www.journeyto100andbeyond.blogspot.com or email her at smalm4 at hotmail.com and be sure to include PCT in the subject line.
